Job summary

Buff City Soap Northern is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Michigan to help lead a store team and support the General Manager in achieving KPIs and guest satisfaction. The AGM will train staff, manage schedules, and ensure safe, compliant operations while driving sales and inventory control.

You will build product knowledge, greet guests, and roles include coordinating promotions, events, and monthly inventories, with a focus on exceptional service and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equival ent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
• Must be team oriented, self-motivated and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff consisting of Team Member(s) and Supervisor(s).
• Promote and maintain accountability to company policies, implementing changes in store (PPE, etc.).
• Follow safety guidelines for working with lye, raw materials, and equipment.
• Provide excellent guest service by building relationships and meeting guest needs.
• Become an expert in store-made products and make recommendations.
• Greet guests consistently and welcome repeat visitors.
• Schedule employees to meet daily business needs.
• Work with General Manager to execute initiatives and KPIs.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory and production.
• Maximize guest retention through training and outstanding service.
• Communicate marketing strategies and promotions to the team.
• Liaise with the office and other stores for support and HR documents.
