Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, build a strong team, and ensure guests receive great food and a friendly experience. This non-exempt role drives accountability, quality, and guest satisfaction.

You will manage schedules, coach team members, and uphold Safe food handling standards while supporting CORE values. 50-hour weekly expectation and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends and some holidays. Schedule demands may change.
• Non-exempt management position expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• Must be ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Manager operates the restaurant and builds a strong team to provide great food and a friendly guest experience.
• Lead daily operations, ensure quality and service standards, and monitor safety and compliance.
