Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality in Denver, CO seeks an Assistant General Manager to serve as the operating lead in the GM's absence, driving frontline performance and guest satisfaction. In this hands-on role you will supervise front desk operations and staff, help manage budget and occupancy, and lead training to uphold brand standards while fostering a positive guest experience.

You will work with the GM to optimize profitability, coach team members, and ensure Say Yes to a Simple Request is delivered

Qualifications

• Operational Oversight & Manager on Duty: take responsibility for front desk operations and MD duties with GM.
• Team Leadership & Development: direct and develop staff, oversee payroll and performance reviews.
• Financial & Sales Support: assist in budgeting, labor, room expense, inventory, and revenue growth.
• Quality & Guest Experience: monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, uphold brand standards.
• Property & Asset Protection: protect company assets and guest information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and act as Manager on Duty.
• Lead and coach front desk and other team members; participate in hiring and performance reviews.
• Support budget monitoring and revenue enhancement initiatives; participate in sales calls.
• Maintain guest satisfaction, address feedback and quality control across departments.
• Ensure asset protection and back-up coverage to sustain smooth operations.
