Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality (SH) is seeking an Assistant General Manager to act as the essential second-in-command and lead the property when the GM is unavailable. You will drive daily operations, uphold brand standards, and contribute to profitability and guest satisfaction.

You will manage front desk shifts, support payroll and staffing decisions, monitor cash and budgets, and participate in sales calls to increase occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and profitability.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing operations within hotel brands is a plus (e.g., Choice, IHG, Marriott).

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for front desk operations and day-to-day management when GM is unavailable.
• Direct the work of at least two employees and participate in hiring, payroll review, training and performance appraisals.
• Assist the GM with cash management, budget control, labor, and room expense; drive revenue and occupancy through sales efforts.
