Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality (SH) seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the GM in running daily hotel operations and driving profitability. This role serves as the essential second-in-command and a future GM track, with responsibility in front desk operations, staff development, and guest satisfaction.

You'll lead by example, manage payroll, monitor budgets, and participate in sales activities to boost occupancy while upholding brand standards and the 'Play To Win' ethos.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and profitability.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with budgeting, financial management, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight & Manager on Duty: assume front desk responsibilities and uphold brand standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: oversee payroll, training, coaching, and performance reviews for direct reports.
• Financial & Sales Support: monitor budgets and revenue, conduct sales calls to increase occupancy.
• Quality & Guest Experience: ensure clean rooms, guest satisfaction, and timely issue resolution.
• Property & Asset Protection: safeguard company assets and guest information.
