Panera LLC in West Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Assistant General Manager Lead with Purpose. You will support the General Manager, plan staffing and shifts, and guide a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include hiring and training, developing team members, and upholding food quality and operational standards in a fast-paced bakery-cafe environment. A strong business mindset and flexible hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.
• Proven availability to run great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching and developing others.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support your General Manager by making key decisions and problem solving.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, career development, and succession planning.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members while motivating, energizing, engaging, inspiring, and celebrating the entire team.
• Assist with managing team performance to meet bakery-cafe goals and guest service standards.
• Partner with the General Manager to develop managers and uphold Panera’s Guiding Values & Behaviors.
