Panera LLC in Lakeville, MN is seeking an Assistant General Manager Lead to support the General Manager with staffing, training, and guest satisfaction. You will help develop future managers and ensure operations meet quality standards in a fast-paced bakery-cafe environment.

You will lead with Panera’s Guiding Values, drive performance, and foster a culture of warmth, growth, and teamwork while ensuring costs are controlled and guests have an exceptional experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years or older.
• 1+ year restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support GM by making key decisions and problem solving.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, career development, and succession planning.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members while motivating, energizing, inspiring, and celebrating the team.
• Assist with managing team performance to meet bakery-cafe goals and guest service standards.
• Develop managers on processes and Panera’s Guiding Values & Behaviors.
• Ensure guests are delighted by food, service and team quality; build loyal guests.
• Follow procedures to execute company strategies and control costs.
