Job summary

KBP Foods, owner of KFC, seeks an Assistant General Manager in Garner, NC to lead people, operations, and guest experience. You will coach the team, manage daily shifts, and ensure top-notch food quality and service.

You’ll drive guest satisfaction, handle inventory and costs, schedule staff, and develop leaders for future roles. Must be 18+, with at least 1 year in an AGM role or similar, and capable of closing shifts several nights weekly.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Active restaurant environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach the team to deliver a high-performing restaurant.
• Deliver a great guest experience and resolve issues quickly.
• Oversee daily operations including inventory, cash handling, and policy compliance.
• Manage labor and food costs to improve restaurant performance and profitability.
• Anticipate challenges, solve problems, and ensure smooth shifts.
