Job summary

Logan's Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales and oversee all aspects of the restaurant's profit and loss. You will hire, train, and develop managers and hourly staff, ensure safety/compliance, and uphold food quality and guest service standards.

You will partner with the General Manager, manage staffing, conduct shift meetings, and implement company policies while communicating with Human Resources and vendors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum two years restaurant management experience required.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Energetic and flexible.
• Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Strong computer skills
• Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications
• Meets all company service standards
• Completes all ongoing certifications/validations (LTO, new menu, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts to achieve sales and profit goals (including hourly labor and cost of sales).
• Unload vendor trucks/pallets, ensure inventory is properly received and rotated.
• Monitor food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality standards.
• Assist General Manager in ensuring all facilities concerns are reported and maintenance logged.
