Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, proudly franchised by KBP Brands, seeks an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations, uphold Sonic standards, and lead a team to deliver great guest experiences.

You will train staff, manage scheduling, handle inventory and safety, drive growth initiatives with the Managing Partner, and participate in our leadership development program. This full-time role offers medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, training, and meal discounts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic’s brand reputation.
