Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, proudly franchised by KBP Brands, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, supervise shifts, train staff, and partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth while protecting the brand.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year AGM experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility, are 18+, can close the restaurant two nights weekly, and can lift/move objects as needed. KBP Brands promotes inclusion and opportunity.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
