Job summary

Taziki's, Inc. is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to lead daily operations in a Birmingham location. You will oversee staff, supervise service delivery, and ensure high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction.

This role emphasizes teamwork, cost control, and a passion for fresh, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. The position offers full-time hours, a supportive team, and a path toward ownership for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1–3 years of management experience.
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy.
• Strong work ethic and passion for fresh food.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to train, retain, and motivate quality employees.

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow the GM’s direction to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge.
• Serve guests, making meaningful connections with them.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team working.
• Set the tone for the shift, and give clear directions to staff.
• Supervise and mentor staff, manage quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations.
• Support or work stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department standards throughout each shift.
• Follow proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of products.
• Maintain proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
