Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in West Gardiner, ME, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure daily operations run smoothly and to develop strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise store-level operations, coach shifts, maintain brand standards, manage cash, resolve customer issues, and drive performance. This entry-level management role offers flexible schedules and opportunities to learn essential skills.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate objectives.
• Ensure day-to-day supervision of non-management staff, assigning work and coaching.
• Perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Strong Leadership and organizational skills.
• Address issues in a timely fashion.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain awareness of brand standards and procedures to maximize relations.
• Ensure restaurant looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and reports delivered as directed.
• Address customer needs and build long-term relationships.
• Ensure inventory data is correct by spot counts.
