Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure smooth daily operations and develop strong leadership within the team.

You will supervise and coach staff, deliver performance feedback, and drive achievement of store goals while maintaining brand standards and excellent customer service. The role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of non-management associates and coach shifts.
• Step in and perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain positive morale during challenging times.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and company policies.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and daily reporting per directives.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to build long-term relationships.
• Keep inventory records accurate through spot checks and counts.
