Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in supervising all operations at a live-in student housing property. This role partners with the Customer & Sales Experience Manager to implement initiatives and maintain a customer‑centric campus environment.

The candidate should demonstrate action‑oriented mindset, adaptability, attention to detail and strong prioritization. On‑call responsibilities and leadership in the GM’s absence may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience working at living communities or property management.
• Proficient in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with attracting candidates both on and off campus, hiring new team members and improving employee retention.
• Assist the General Manager with training, coaching, development and leadership of team members.
• Coordinate with the Customer & Sales Experience Manager to manage the property onsite schedule and after‑hour on‑call shifts.
• Elevate employee experience through data, conversations and team building to ensure high morale.
• Assist GM with property staffing and turnover planning, inspections and vendor coordination.
