Job summary

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a team of managers focused on customer service.
• Analyze reports and customer insights to identify opportunities.
• Coach and empower managers to become business experts using data.
• De-escalate negative customer experiences and support staff.
• Use feedback to coach and recognize performance.
• Ensure compliance with merchandising and operations standards.
• Lead with a customer lens to exceed world-class experiences.
• Schedule planning based on workload, budgeting, and traffic.
• Maintain loss prevention and inventory accuracy.
• Uphold ethics, safety, and compliance across the store.
• Conduct weekly department walks for operational excellence.
• Ensure training completion and ongoing education.
• Foster development conversations throughout careers.
• Establish accountability with clear expectations.
• Recruit, hire, and retain passionate staff with development plans.
• Engage associates with the leadership team’s initiatives.
• Onboard new hires effectively and timely.
• Navigate Workday for training, benefits, and payroll info.
• Lead local recruitment for part-time candidates in Workday.
• Document disciplinary actions and acknowledgments in Workday.
• Lead HR programs for compliance with SLT.
• Support DEI and inclusive culture across stores.
• Act as DEI liaison between stores and SSC.
• Champion DEI initiatives and address bias proactively.
• Oversee inventory readiness per LP guidelines.
• Partner with SSC DEI Council to strengthen communication.
