Fresh Dining Concepts is hiring an Assistant General Manager for Auntie Anne’s in Norridge, IL. The role blends leadership with guest experience, overseeing daily operations and staff development to ensure top quality pretzels, service, and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, holidays).
• TB clearance required (if applicable by location).
• 1–2 years of food service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout shift.
• Comfortable working in warm and cold environments (ovens, prep areas, walk-ins).
• Basic math and computer skills (POS systems).
• Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days).
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology.
• General knowledge of food service or pretzel operations is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and store performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Maintain high standards for product quality, service, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, and operational reporting.
• Handle team and guest concerns with professionalism and confidence.
• Step in to manage the store in the absence of the General Manager.
