Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals in Spanish Fort, AL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead an upscale casual dining restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving operational excellence.

You will partner with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, coach front- and back-of-house teams, manage labor, costs and food safety, and build a culture based on accountability and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar role.
• Experience in upscale or polished casual dining.
• Proven track record of managing high-volume restaurant operations.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Experience with labor, food costs and controllable expenses.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Partner with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day restaurant operations
• Lead, coach, and develop FOH and BOH teams

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Senior Manager
• Upscale or polished casual restaurant experience
• Proven success in high-volume restaurant operations
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people
• Experience managing labor, food costs, and controllable expenses
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• ServSafe Certification
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
