Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals in Spanish Fort, AL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead an upscale casual dining restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving operational excellence.

You will partner with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, coach front- and back-of-house teams, manage labor, costs and food safety, and build a culture based on accountability and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar role.
• Experience in upscale or polished casual dining.
• Proven track record of managing high-volume restaurant operations.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Experience with labor, food costs and controllable expenses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations with the General Manager.
• Lead, coach, and develop FOH and BOH teams.
• Drive guest experiences and hospitality standards.
• Assist with labor scheduling, staffing, onboarding and training.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
• Monitor sales, labor, costs and controllable expenses.
• Contribute to profitability and overall restaurant performance.
• Foster a positive culture centered on accountability and teamwork.
