Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help oversee day-to-day operations across our New Jersey locations. This entry-level management role offers growth, hands-on leadership, and the chance to learn essential management skills with discretion and judgment.

Responsibilities include coaching shifts, driving store performance, ensuring policies, and maintaining brand and safety standards while delivering strong customer service and managing cash and inventory with accuracy.

• Flexible and open to different shifts and schedules.
• Ability to lift or push objects weighing 30 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management staff, assign work, monitor store performance, coach shift supervisors.
• Act competently in the absence of the General Manager.
• Motivate staff and elevate morale during challenging times.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Address issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain brand standards and relationships with landlord and labor.
• Keep the restaurant clean, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards.
• Accurately manage cash and process daily reports.
• Address customer needs, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through spot counts and checks.
