Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and drive service quality at our NJ locations. This entry-level management role focuses on learning essential management skills, judgment, and discretion while delivering strong guest experiences.

You will oversee shift supervisors, coach staff, ensure adherence to brand standards, and contribute to a smooth, customer-focused operation.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Confidently delivering performance feedback, setting goals, fostering teamwork, and communicating business objectives.
• Supervising day-to-day activities of non-management associates and coaching shifts supervisors.
• Performing duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivating staff and maintaining morale during challenging times.
• Ensuring brand standards, policies, and cash management are followed and accurate.
