Job summary

Unique Food and Beverage is seeking an Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage to oversee concessions, portable carts, premium areas, and catering at Nymeo Field in Frederick, MD, and Segra Field in Loudoun County, VA.

You will collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to lead staff, manage inventory, and coordinate game-day operations while ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and high-quality service for fans throughout the season.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in food service, concessions, hospitality or related field.
• Experience in sports/entertainment venue preferred.
• Strong leadership to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Working knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Basic inventory management, product ordering, and cash handling.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays.

The Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage supports the day-to-day operations of all concession stands, portable carts, premium areas, and catering services at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, MD, and Segra Field in Loudoun County, VA.

This role is essential to delivering an exceptional fan experience through high-quality food and beverage offerings, efficient service, and a clean, safe environment. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, the Assistant Manager helps lead staff, manage inventory, coordinate game-day operations, and ensure compliance with all applicable food safety and health regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in food service, concessions, hospitality, or a related field; experience in a sports or entertainment venue is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and best practices.
• Basic understanding of inventory management, product ordering, and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts throughout the baseball season.
