Job summary

Spooky Nook Sports Inc is seeking a Part-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to manage concession operations and lead a guest‑focused team at our large sports complex in Salunga, PA. The role requires weekend availability and hands-on leadership in fast-paced settings.

You will oversee staff, coordinate setups for events, and ensure inventory, POS, and SOP adherence while delivering outstanding guest experiences. Join a high-energy environment at North America's largest indoor sports complex.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisor role, preferably in concessions or food & beverage.
• Must be 18+ and have reliable transportation.
• Strong English reading, writing and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train F&B staff to support company growth.
• Maintain positive relations between F&B and other departments.
• Assist in preparing and setting up concessions for programs/events.
• Coordinate cash handling, staffing, setup, and equipment needs.
• Communicate with guests and staff about operations and opportunities to enhance guest experience.
• Follow SOPs for concessions areas and ensure compliance.
• Manage employee breaks in line with wage/hour laws.
• Provide timely information to hourly staff and management.
• Assist in monthly inventory as requested by management.
• Oversee Food Service Leads and Attendants during shifts.
• Process POS transactions accurately and troubleshoot POS issues.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of F&B staff serving meals/beverages.
• Ensure food prep and display are appealing and properly replenished.
• Follow FIFO and WLD procedures for inventory control.
• Deliver exceptional guest service consistently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain ongoing development and training of other Food and Beverage associates to contribute toward the growth of the Company.
• Maintain positive working relations between Food and Beverage and all other departments.
• Assist in preparing & set up of the concession areas for specific programs, sports events, or showcases.
• Facilitate cash, staffing, setup, and equipment needs.
• Communicate properly and effectively with the guest, associates and managers regarding any operational challenges and opportunities to better enhance the overall guest’s experience.
• Follow and update concessions area SOPs.
• Manage employee breaks in compliance with wage and hour laws
• Communicate necessary information to hourly staff.
• Assist in conducting monthly physical inventory as requested by management.
• Oversee Food Service Leads & Attendants during shift.
• Process all point of sale transactions promptly and within company guidelines and troubleshoot POS systems if errors occur.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of all Food & Beverage employees engaged in providing meals and/or beverages to patrons and employees.
• Ensure food preparation and display food is appealing to the eye and replenished as needed.
• Follow WLD (Wrap, Label and Date) procedures for all food products and return to designated areas. Practice FIFO (first in first out) on all products. Utilize cooler products that are WLD first before opening new products.
• Assure exceptional guest service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisor role, preferably in concessions or food & beverage
• 18 years of age or older
• Dependable transportation to and from work
• Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
• Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessary
• Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Familiarity with global operational function of an entertainment venue
• Thorough understanding of inventory management
• Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality

Working Conditions

• Work environment: Upbeat, high-energy sports and event complex with heavy foot traffic and frequent large crowds. The team member is occasionally required to work outside where he or she will be subject to environmental conditions.
• Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, standing, sitting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing and smelling. The team member will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Lifting requirements: The team member will be required to lift, push, pull, lower and/or move up to 10 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Noise Level: The noise level in this environment is typically moderate to loud.
