Live! Casino & Hotel in Maryland seeks an Assistant General Manager for Luma to support daily lounge operations, uphold service standards, and lead a team in a fast-paced nightlife environment. Focus on both restaurant management and beverage operations to ensure responsible alcohol service and a vibrant guest experience.

The role emphasizes labor and cost control, adherence to policies, and regulatory compliance to drive profitability and an exceptional atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 5–7 years of restaurant/lounge management experience in fine dining, craft cocktail, or nightlife environments.
• Serv-Safe and RAMP certified.
• Full working knowledge of POS.
• Knowledge of the approved Responsible Gaming Program.
• Flexible with work schedule; may require extended hours.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming license per Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and uphold all company and departmental policies.
• Supervise and train managers and hourly staff; maintain open communication across the department.
• Maintain beverage/food inventories and ensure quality control for alcohol service.
• Ensure elevated, timely service aligned with lounge standards.
• Assist in managing labor, beverage, and food costs to meet budgeted goals.
• Ensure safety for employees and guests through strong safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and gaming regulations.
• Achieve revenue goals and maximize profitability across lounge operations.
• Maintain Live! standards and reflect company values.
• Respond to guest trends and feedback to improve satisfaction.
