Job summary

McDonald’s is hiring for an Assistant General Manager to lead operations and people in a fast-paced restaurant. You will supervise training, food safety, inventory, and service quality while supporting the General Manager to meet sales and guest experience goals.

The role requires leadership experience or military service, strong customer service and decision-making in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to excellence and safety.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience leading, motivating and/or developing others OR US Military Service.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• The ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs; and
• To provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Delegate tasks to team members and report results.
• Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in Kitchen, People, and Service areas.
• Supervise food quality, safety, cost, and new menu items; hire, train, and schedule staff.
• Ensure staff are trained and organized to provide the best guest service; partner with the team for safe operations.
