Applegreen is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run daily operations across our New Jersey locations. You will lead teams, coach staff, and ensure service quality, safety, and brand standards while delivering a positive guest experience.

This entry-level manager role offers growth opportunities, flexible scheduling, and exposure to the full scope of quick-service restaurant operations, from people leadership to financial oversight and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in quick-service restaurant.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Ability to lift/push objects over 30 lbs.
• Flexible and open work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate objectives.
• Supervise non-management staff, assign work, coach shifts supervisors.
• Cover duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff, especially during low morale.
• Ensure brand standards and policies are followed.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and daily reports.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues.
• Perform spot inventory checks to ensure accurate inventory data.
