Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run daily operations at our NJ locations. The role offers hands-on management experience, mentoring opportunities, and the chance to develop judgment and discretion skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a team, coach shifts, uphold brand standards, and ensure excellent guest experiences while supporting continuous improvement in performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day store operations and train shift supervisors.
• Step in for the general manager when needed.
• Motivate staff and maintain high morale during busy times.
• Ensure policies and brand standards are followed and the restaurant looks clean and inviting.
• Manage cash handling and daily reporting.
