Border Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with a focus on delivering great food and a friendly guest experience. You will supervise team members, drive sales, and uphold our core values of accountability, integrity, family, and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have 1 year restaurant or retail experience, strong staffing and training skills, and the ability to work varied hours. Benefits include education programs, health coverage, and CPT opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, weekends, and some holidays; 50+ hours per week.
• Requires ServeSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and lead a strong team to deliver great food and friendly service.
• Ensure accountability, integrity, and adherence to company core values.
• Schedule staff and monitor performance to meet standards and safety guidelines.
• Manage cash handling, inventory, and loss prevention.
