Job summary

Panera LLC in The Colony, TX seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead an amazing team at a beloved bakery-cafe. You will partner with the General Manager to oversee operations, delight guests daily, and drive business growth while owning hiring, training, and development at your location.

You will inspire and celebrate your team, build strong guest relationships, and ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and financial controls while promoting Panera's guiding values.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.
• Proven ability to run great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching and developing others in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Background check required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for up to 6 hours, and clearly communicate in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by making key decisions and solving problems.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, and succession planning.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Manage team performance to meet bakery-cafe goals, quality standards, and guest service expectations.
• Develop managers on processes and Panera's Guiding Values & Behaviors.
