Panera LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager Lead at our Frisco bakery-cafe. You will partner with the General Manager to supervise daily operations, delight guests, and drive business growth through staffing, training, and development of the team.

You will lead by example in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality service, cost controls, and adherence to Panera’s guiding values. This role offers opportunities for leadership development and career progression within Panera Bread.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ year of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain.
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the bakery-cafe team and partner with the General Manager to oversee operations.
• Plan staffing, shift scheduling, and staff development.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members and foster engagement.
• Manage team performance to meet guest service, quality, and cost goals.
• Collaborate with the GM to develop managers in Panera’s guiding values and processes.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining food/service quality and a positive team culture.
• Follow procedures to execute company strategies and ensure compliance with policies.
