Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is hiring an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and learn essential management skills. You will lead a team, uphold brand standards, coach supervisors, and ensure smooth store performance across shifts.

You will guide staff, drive customer satisfaction, manage cash and inventory, and resolve issues promptly while maintaining strong relationships with customers and the brand. Training provided and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management staff, assign tasks, coach shifts supervisors, and monitor store-level operations.
• Be able to perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale during challenging periods.
• Maintain brand standards, cash control, and daily reporting as directed by the company.
• Resolve customer needs and build long-term customer relationships.
• Ensure inventory accuracy with spot counts and checks.
