Job summary

Taziki's Café is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Raleigh location, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth team performance.

You will review P&L, manage schedules, and uphold food safety and quality standards while coaching staff and maintaining a positive, fast-paced service environment. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for growth into ownership paths.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of management experience.
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy.
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Looking for the chance to lead a team.
• Leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to train, retain, and motivate quality employees.
• Motivated, self-initiated and team-oriented.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Must obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing store’s P&L, assisting in scheduling, and following GM guidance to reach cost goals.
• Mastering menu and product knowledge.
• Serving guests and making meaningful connections.
• Being responsible for the restaurant and the team.
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear directions to staff.
• Supervising and mentoring staff and managing crew development, motivation, training and evaluations.
• Supporting or working stations including kitchen as needed.
• Assisting GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Following cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout shifts.
• Following Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of products.
• Maintaining hygiene, uniform and appearance.
