Job summary

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and uphold brand standards in a fast‑paced setting. You will manage costs, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive front/back‑of‑house excellence.

Responsibilities include staff development, onboarding, cash handling, health/safety compliance, and ensuring food quality. A strong leader with solid communication skills and a passion for fresh Mediterranean cuisine is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1–3 years of management experience.
• Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy.
• Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Looking for the chance to lead a team.
• Leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Must obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow GM’s direction to reach cost goals.
• Master menu and product knowledge.
• Serve guests, making meaningful connections with them.
• Be responsible for the restaurant and the team working.
• Set the tone for the shift, and give clear directions to staff.
• Supervise and mentor staff, manage quality crew development, training and evaluations.
• Support or work stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Assist GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department Standards throughout each shift.
• Follow Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintain hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
