Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and to develop leadership skills in entry-level managers.

You will supervise staff, coach shifts, and uphold brand standards while maintaining excellent customer service and efficient cash controls. This role offers growth opportunities within the Applegreen network.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
• Ensure day-to-day supervision of non-management associates, assign work, coach, and develop shifts supervisors.
• Capable of competently performing duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Maintain strong leadership and organized operations to meet targets and standards.
• Ensure the restaurant looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
• Manage cash handling and daily reports as directed by company policies.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues, maintaining long-term relationships.
• Perform spot inventory counts and verify inventory data to ensure accuracy.
