Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in running daily operations at our NJ locations. This role offers entry-level management exposure, mentorship, and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You will supervise staff, drive performance, ensure brand standards, manage cash and inventory, and deliver superior guest service while upholding safety and company policies.

Qualifications

Experience in hospitality/food service management.
Proven ability to coach and develop staff.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Deliver performance feedback, set goals, and communicate objectives.
Supervise daily store operations and shift supervisors.
Step in for General Manager when needed.
Motivate staff during times of low morale.
Ensure brand standards, cash handling, and inventory checks.
Resolve customer issues and maintain positive relationships.
