Job summary

Laundry Capital is hiring an Assistant General Manager for our Cranston location. In this in-person leadership role you’ll partner with the General Manager to drive exceptional customer experiences, oversee wash/dry/fold operations, promote products, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

You’ll lead teams, ensure daily operations run smoothly, manage inventory, and deliver service excellence while contributing to community engagement.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience of 2+ years in retail, service, sales, or operations management.
• Experience managing budgets, driving revenue, and controlling costs is a plus.
• Hands-on maintenance and operations capability.
• Excellent communication skills for motivating teams and customer service.
• Strong sales mindset with retail experience.
• Must be physically capable to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Flexible schedule to cover evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and be the face of the store.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and peak operational efficiency.
• Oversee and support staff during shifts and enforce policies.
• Manage inventory and shelf readiness of supplies and cleaning products.
• Assist day-to-day store operations to ensure a fully functional laundromat.
