Job summary

At CAVA, Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager and Area Leader to drive restaurant performance, schedules, forecasting, labor, and inventory while modeling the brand's mission and values for guests and Team Members.

As AGM, you will help manage daily operations, ensure food quality, service, cleanliness, training, coaching, and guest satisfaction; you will assist with financial reporting and budget adherence while leading by example.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
• Lead by example in customer service and encourage the team to follow suit.
