Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Danbury, CT to partner with the GM and Area Leader to drive store performance, coach Team Members, and manage daily operations. The AGM will help shape scheduling, forecasting, labor, and inventory while upholding CAVA standards for quality and service.

This role requires 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity in hospitality, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing efforts and resolve team issues.
