Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations. You will supervise staff, uphold standards, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory, and reinforce food safety while driving sales and profitability.

In this role you lead by example, train and schedule team members, handle cash procedures, and step in for the GM when needed. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is required to keep operations

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in a food service environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and basic financial principles.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations with the General Manager.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage waste.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally.
• Assist in managing labor and food costs within budget.
• Ensure proper cash handling and banking procedures are followed.
• Promote a positive and productive work environment.
• Take initiative in identifying and solving operational issues.
• Step into the role of General Manager as needed.
