Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations, lead a strong team and deliver an excellent guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist the General Manager with opening and closing, recruit and train staff, monitor food quality, safety, and inventory, manage costs, and engage locally with marketing to boost traffic and sales while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of leadership experience in restaurant or food service.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Experience with cost control budgeting and inventory management.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations to ensure service runs smoothly and maintains company standards for food quality and guest experience.
• Recruit, train and onboard new team members; supervise shifts and delegate tasks.
• Deliver high level of customer satisfaction by monitoring food quality and service; handle customer concerns professionally.
• Support the restaurant's financial performance by helping manage expenses, labor and inventory; track sales and assist payroll.
• Ensure health, safety and sanitation standards are followed; maintain cleanliness and equipment functionality.
• Support local marketing and promotions to drive traffic and sales; communicate promotions to guests.
• Maintain clear communication with the General Manager and team; identify opportunities for improvement.
