Job summary

Hawksmoor Boston is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our newly opened US restaurant. You will support the General Manager in delivering Hawksmoor’s standards, culture, and guest experience, while leading the team and driving performance across all restaurant operations.

You will collaborate with the Executive Chef and Bar Manager, mentor future leaders, oversee recruitment and onboarding, and uphold our commitment to inclusivity and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant teams in a luxury or high-volume setting.
• Excellent hospitality and guest-service mindset with a focus on consistency.
• Proven ability to mentor managers, oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Role model exceptional hospitality and elevate Hawksmoor service standards.
• Lead from the floor to ensure seamless guest experiences and drive guest satisfaction.
• Develop leaders, oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews across the team.
• Ensure food and beverage standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines are followed.
• Maintain CSI scores, analyze feedback, and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef and Bar Manager to ensure quality and consistency.
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the team.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and labor costs.
• Manage budget, inventory control, and cost optimization.
• Provide leadership in the absence of the General Manager and ensure continuity.
