Job summary

Convive Brands is seeking an experienced restaurant leader for Le Pain Quotidien at Glendale, CA. Open houses and on‑the‑spot interviews are available for multiple roles including General Manager and Assistant General Manager.

The role focuses on leading from the floor, elevating hospitality, coaching leaders, and driving performance with a balanced approach to service and operations. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant leadership in full-service or comparable environments.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and ability to lead from the floor during service.
• Proven track record building strong restaurant cultures with accountability.
• Strong guest-experience focus and coaching toward high standards.
• Experience hiring, developing, coaching, and retaining talent at multiple levels.
• Experience managing labor, sales, COGS, inventory, forecasting, and P&L.
• Growth mindset toward GM-level leadership.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• NYC Food Handlers License is required.
• Spanish, French, and/or Arabic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor during service, coaching in the moment and ensuring hospitality excellence.
• Own the guest experience and resolve concerns with empathy and urgency.
• Develop people and culture; build a value-driven team.
• Partner with GM to recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop staff.
• Lead and coach through opening, service, and closing with clear communication.
• Oversee labor deployment to balance guest experience and performance.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Collaborate on inventory, food cost, waste, ordering, and COGS.
