Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a hands‑on Assistant General Manager to help lead a strong team, run successful shifts, and support overall restaurant performance. As second‑in‑command to the General Manager, you will drive guest satisfaction, uphold high standards, and develop staff for future leadership roles.

You will train and coach team members, manage scheduling and labor, monitor food quality and safety, and contribute to operational reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience supervising or managing a team in fast‑paced environments.
• Ability to coach, train, and develop staff.
• Comfort with scheduling, labor management, inventory, and reporting systems.
• Customer–focused with a proactive problem‑solver mindset.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Shift Leads and Crew Members on a daily basis.
• Independently run successful shifts and ensure proper staffing and support.
• Maintain service standards, food quality, cleanliness, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, attendance, and timekeeping.
• Support HR in interviewing candidates and providing feedback to the GM.
• Coach employees, address concerns, and escalate when needed.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, waste, and food cost control.
• Maintain food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Address guest concerns and safety issues, and prepare for inspections.
