Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily center operations in the GM's absence and to allocate resources for optimal customer care. You will supervise staff, ensure first-rate service, and handle hands-on tasks like hitch installations.

This role includes ongoing training through U-Haul University. Qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and proven leadership and customer service experience, with flexibility to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches and brake controllers.
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
