U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily center operations in the General Manager’s absence. You will lead a team, allocate time and resources to priorities, and ensure customers receive top-notch service.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and proven leadership or customer service experience. Expect shifts that may vary and opportunities for advancement within U-Haul.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
