Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations in the General Manager's absence at a Texas center. You will lead a capable team, ensure customers receive an outstanding first impression, and allocate resources to critical tasks.

The role includes performing hitch installations and ongoing training through U-Haul University. Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, leadership and customer service experience, and the ability to work varied

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership and customer service experience are required; ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager's absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and quality care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
