Job summary

Aloft Tampa Downtown is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations under the guidance of the General Manager. This on-site role requires overseeing Rooms and F&B, managing budgets, and ensuring brand standards across departments.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of management experience in hospitality, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills to resolve guest and staff issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of management experience, preferably in Rooms and F&B.
• Strong computer literacy and financial management skills.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including budget forecasting and safety programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operational managers to success on action plans related to property strategic plan.
• Plan, organize, attend, and participate in hotel and departmental meetings.
• Ensure compliance with brand standard operating procedures and policies.
• Develop and manage Rooms/Food and Beverage budgets and revenue forecasts.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, evaluate staff; discipline or termination when appropriate.
• As a member of the Executive Committee, help create and execute financial objectives of the hotel.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available to work as required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
