Job summary

EōS Fitness in Fort Worth is opening a new gym and seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead the Sales team, guide member journeys, and ensure exceptional service. This hourly role reports to the General Manager and requires a hands-on leader who can motivate staff and stay adaptable to evolving needs.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, supervising staff, ensuring facility standards, handling inquiries, and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience.
• 3-4 years of sales experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels.
• Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales team to meet sales targets, especially weekends or when the GM is absent.
• Sell club memberships, individual memberships, fitness services, products, and programs to meet/exceed goals.
• Oversee billing processes for memberships; monitor sales; follow up with leads and prospects.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff clearly.
• Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Ensure health and safety compliance; maintain certifications; implement safety protocols.
• Address member concerns and inquiries; resolve issues promptly to ensure high-quality service.
• Engage with members in a friendly, approachable manner; listen to needs and provide helpful responses.
• Communicate calmly with staff and members during emergencies or disruptions with clear updates.
