Job summary

Hyatt Studios in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Assistant General Manager to join our team. The role requires hotel management experience and a focus on guest satisfaction and brand standards.

The Assistant General Manager will lead guest relations, safety, community engagement, and asset management initiatives, while mentoring staff and driving service excellence to maintain the property’s market leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of prior hotel management experience, or equivalent education/experience
• Bachelor’s degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration preferred

Responsibilities

• Speak to guests, solicit feedback and build relationships.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and assets.
• Act as public relations representative to raise hotel brand awareness in the local community.
• Demonstrate brand citizenship by complying with brand and service standards.
• Drive team involvement in community organizations, activities, and businesses.
• Collaborate with colleagues to establish and implement services and programs that meet or exceed guest expectations.
• Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to enhance performance.
• Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives with management companies to maintain or improve property’s market leadership position.

Education
