Job summary

RPM Italian in Chicago is hiring an Assistant General Manager with at least 2 years of AGM experience to oversee daily operations, guest service and team development. You will coach hourly and management staff, manage opening and closing shifts, and collaborate with the GM to drive guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years of AGM experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Skilled in leading and developing teams.
• Experienced with inventory and BOH systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day business operations run smoothly.
• Assist with training, recruiting, HR and administrative duties; assist with financials / statements and support the GM with customer service inquiries.
• Organize and supervise opening/closing shifts for optimal guest and employee experiences.
• Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams while upholding our Culture of Caring.
• Respond to guest and employee needs and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Assist GM in managing costs, driving sales and achieving financial goals.
• Interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise and develop BOH staff as needed.
• Conduct inventories and manage food/beverage supplies; place orders and inspect deliveries.
